LONG day - GREAT day! February 17. 2026

Today was a FULL day!

Breakfast at 6:45, out the door at 7:30 and we never stopped moving.  Because we are all pretty bagged - you get the pictorial version of our wandering through Bogota, then Chia then Zipaquira..

(please excuse the wonky formatting on this blog post....technology is not my friend this early)

Happy 18th birthday Casendra!

We got served playing soccer with Colombians that were born with soccer balls attached to their feet.

Ezra, Hudson and Bethany teaching all about the things you find in your house.

Have you ever tried a fruit salad with grated cheese and sweetened condensed milk?
Now we can say that we have!  The fruit here is AMAZING!!

Next stop...Chia and a visit to a lovely nursing home with the sweetest people to sit and share stories or just hold a hand.
Cas using her Duolingo skills and showing pictures of her family and home.

This sweet little lady told us a heartbreaking story about her life and loss.  We are SO thankful for Raquel and Ben and their bilingual skills!!

We went to the Salt Cathedral - a Catholic cathedral that is 180 metres down under the earth.  It is part of a working salt mine.

The last stop was back in Chia,  where we spent the evening sharing a lovely meal of shepherd pie in the beautiful home of an ECA family.  What a great day!!
