Sweet Saturday #2

Hey guys, this is Jayda and today was good.

First off, we got our final breakfast from our amazing cooks, Pablo and Luz Angela. It was so delicious! Then we headed off to ECA school and we invited all three places of the Hogar De Paz kids. All the kids were so excited to see us AGAIN and so were we. We love those kids. We played some games then gave them a yummy snack. Afterwards we separated the kids into groups of younger and older. We helped them make bead bracelets (which I may have accidently broke a few times) and played some fun games in the gym. We had Colombian style hot dogs (delicious) and cotton candy (even more delicious). We said goodbye and lots of hugs were given. <3

Yoo wassup my peeps. 

Today was an amazing day other than Michael didn't want to let me sleep in. He kept saying we had to
go or something. But after a wonderful breakfast Carlos took us to ECA and we got to play wide games with the kids from the 3 other Hogar de Paz programs. After a not so quick game of freeze tag, I almost died from lack of oxygen. Half the kids went to the gym to play games while the other half came to the cafeteria and made bead bracelets. I don't know who's genius idea it was to have me helping with the arts and crafts. especially since I failed grade 6 art class, but somehow I managed to figure it out and tie some knots only breaking 10% or so. 

After a great lunch of hotdogs and homemade cotton candy we drove to the mall where Chiela (how the Colombian Starbucks employee spelled it) and Kerstin got Starbucks. Then we went to Jumbo which is like a massive Sobeys where I got some coffee and some candies.  

We went to a delicious restaurant where we got to listen to so many amazing stories about missions in Bogota and how life is from Steve and Evie Bartel and Beth. Then we drove home and Carlos let me sit in the jump seat. which is on the front stairs of the bus. That was pretty awesome! Now after some highs and lows I'm writing this blog so hopefully it's good. With nada more to say...adios Amigos. See ya on Monday - or whenever I show up at school.  (sorry Mrs. Dobson)
