Thursday - GOLDEN RULE!!

 Today was a really fun day!

We went to Golden Rule and when we entered the staff were overjoyed. They told us that the students had been waiting so long to see us. When they finally saw us, they kept saying, "The Canadians are here!" Then we split up into our teaching groups and went to our classrooms.

Riley, Ezra and I were in a teaching group and the classes we got were very fun. Some of them were very quiet and listened. There were other classes where the class would pay attention for a bit then lose interest and would not listen, but overall it was very fun.

During the break we went outside with the kids and played volleyball with the high schoolers after we had a snack. We were playing to the best of our abilities and we actually managed to keep up with them but they did win. What was really nice is that all the kids were on the side of the court cheering "CAN-A-DA!"

The rest of the day was also very fun and at the end of the teaching they brought us some food. When we were about to get up and leave they gave us gift bags full of goodies and got a picture of us all together.

We were so blessed today by their generosity and kindness.
